Arneg Cold Ring System

Glycol refrigeration technology for small to medium supermarkets

cold-ring-system-hero

Arneg offers an advanced and sustainable refrigeration solution for small and medium size supermarkets: Arneg Cold Ring System.

This technology combines a natural refrigerant gas – propane (R290) – with a natural refrigerant liquid – glycol. Used together in the distribution circuit, these combine to cool every display in the store and to reduce impact on the environment compared to conventional refrigerants.

How does the circuit work?

The chiller comprises a condenser, a compressor and a cold glycol distribution pump. These components work together to cool the glycol to the desired temperature.

To use and distribute this refrigerant, the supermarket’s refrigerated displays and cold rooms are equipped with heat exchangers specially designed for use with glycol. This ensures effective refrigerant distribution to all areas of the supermarket.

The advantages of Arneg Cold Ring System

  • Modularity and easy installation

Arneg Cold Ring System technology features a modular design to facilitate installation and allow easy customisation to suit specific supermarket requirements.

  • Easy maintenance

The system is designed for ease of maintenance. Leaks from the circuit are detected immediately by a pressure drop in the hydraulic circuit or the presence of dye at the point of escape.

  • Low GWP refrigerant gas

The chiller can use low GWP refrigerant gases like R290 and other HFOs, thereby reducing impact on the environment.

  • Low refrigerant gas charge

Arneg Cold Ring System permits a dramatic -95% reduction in gas charge, making supermarkets more sustainable than ever.
